Application for S6 Repeater

Our school is offering limited places for S6 repeaters. Please submit the completed Application Form, together with the supporting documents and the application fee of $75 (payable either by cash or cheque made payable to “Hon Wah College Management Committee Limited”) in person at our school during office hours.

Application Date : From HKDSE Exam Results Release Day (Monday to Friday), first come first served
Application Time : 8:30 am – 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Subjects offered by our school
  • Core Subjects:Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Citizenship and Social Development
  • Elective Subjects : 2 to 3 elective subjects, i.e. 2X or 3X
    (may choose one subject out of the choices provided in each of the following groups)

X1 Physics (C/E) / Geography (C/E) / Chinese History (C)
X2 Chemistry (C/E) / Economics (C) / Tourism and Hospitality Studies (C)
X3 Biology (C/E) / BAFS (C) / History (C/E)
X4 Visual Arts (Saturday class)
  • Two separate learning groups adopting Cantonese and English respectively as the medium of instruction are offered in Mathematics, M2, Citizenship and Social Development, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Geography.
  • Chinese Language will be taught in Putonghua
Minimum Entrance Requirements
  • Having attained Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the current HKDSE, and
  • 3 other subjects (including other core subjects and/or elective subjects) at Level 2
Other selection criteria
  • S4, S5 & S6 academic results of the former school
  • Conduct grade
  • Performance in extra-curricular activities attended and services rendered
Documents Required
  • Recent photo of student (to be affixed to the form)
  • Photocopy of student’s identification document
  • Photocopies of student’s school report cards of the recent two years and public examination results notice
  • Photocopies of attendance / award certificates attained by student in extra-curricular activities (if applicable)
