Professor Hon-Ming Lam was invited to share with students in the“Hong Kong Teenager 1872 Salon” Seminar organized by China Merchants Group on March 26.
Professor Hon-Ming Lam’s two research findings, Rhizobia and Longhuang Soybeans, were respectively taken to space by Tianzhou-6 and Shenzhou-16 spacecrafts and reached the Tiangong Space Station successfully, becoming the first Hong Kong agricultural research project launched into space. Professor Lam hopes that the unique environment of space can bring new directions for research, and encourages the younger generation, whether students or academics, to seize the opportunity to contribute to and move ahead with the country as well.
