The 2025 DSE results remained steady and promising, with an 91.1% overall pass rate.
Subjects with a credit rate above 40% include Chinese Literature (100%), Math (M2) (52.6%), Physics (52.6%), Chinese History (50%), Chemistry (47.2%), and History (46.2%).
Subjects with a pass rate of 100% include BAFS, Chinese History, Chinese Literature, and Visual Arts. Subjects with a pass rate above 90% include Economics (95.2%), English Language (94.9%), Geography (94.7%), History (92.3%), Chinese Language (90.8%), and Biology (90.0%). For the Citizenship and Social Development, a result of 96.9% “Attained” was achieved. The pass rates for Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics were all higher than the territory averages, while percentage of Level 3 in English Language was also higher than the territory average.
The top seven students including LUO CHONGYUN, CHENG HOK KAN, YEUNG TSENG YIU, CHOI KA HANG ETHAN, LEE LIN SAN, NIE JENNY and TING SUM YI were granted admission offers from different universities. LUO scored a total of 33 grade points with Level 5* in Mathematics, Economics, Physics and BAFS was successfully admitted to the Global Engineering and Business Programme, HKU, while CHENG a total of 30 grade points with Level 5* in Mathematics, Math (M2) and Chemistry to the Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering Programme, HKU. Meanwhile, YEUNG received an offer of the Bachelor of Nursing Programme from CUHK, CHOI an offer of Bachelor of Science (Group A) with an Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence Programme from HKUST, while LEE for Information Engineering Programme, CUHK, NIE for The Bachelor of Science Programme, CUHK, and TING for The Bachelor of Arts in History Programme, CUHK.
