On 14 November, S5 students taking Citizenship and Social Development visited the modern waste-to-energy incineration power plant in Nansha, alongside the Nansha agricultural base. This field trip deepened their understanding of solid waste treatment technologies and sustainable development concepts, whilst also providing hands-on experience of the packaging process for vegetables supplied to Hong Kong, understanding the importance of vegetable safety inspections.
