On June 20, Ms. TSUI Ka Po, the Department Head of the Chinese Language of our school, was invited to attend the “Seminar on Learning and Teaching of Chinese Culture” organized by The Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture. She shared insights on “The Way of Teaching, the Carrier of Virtue: Rooting Chinese Values in Contemporary Students’ Lives, Exemplified by ‘Shi Shuo’ (The Teacher’s Discourse).”
During the seminar, Ms. TSUI integrated theories with teaching practice to demonstrate to fellow educators how to effectively utilize the Tang Dynasty classic ‘Shi Shuo’ to guide modern secondary students in reflecting on and establishing their moral values.
