Mainland Study Tour (first launch) of the Subject of Citizenship and Social Development

The “Mainland Study Tour of the Subject of Citizenship and Social Development” activities for S5 is an essential part of the subject’s curriculum, aiming to enable students to gain an understanding of national affairs and the development of the nation, and enhance their sense of national identity through the on-site visits.

On April 3, S5 students joining the first Mainland study tour set off for Guangzhou and visited the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and Yongqingfang, learning about the concept of cultural conservation and experiencing Chinese culture. They also attended Geography, Biology, Art, Woodworking and Music classes with the students from ZhiXin High School to develop new friendship.

On April 4, paying visits to the iFLYTEK Research Institute and Unicorn Experience Camp of the Heung Kong Science and Technology Innovation Center at Nansha District to experience AI and learn about the future development of innovation and technology. The final destination was Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Dream Factory in Shenzhen, to visit the enterprises set up by Hong Kong young people and explore the way ahead.
