In celebration of “4.23 World Book Day,” our Secondary Section invited Mr. Leung Wai-kit to deliver a talk for junior secondary students titled “Outer Space Security and Me.” The session aimed to foster a vibrant reading atmosphere on campus while broadening students’ horizons. This insightful talk enhanced students’ understanding of cutting-edge technology and provided deep insights into China’s remarkable achievements and development in aerospace.
On the same day, students participated in the “Reading Across Horizons Shared Reading Session cum Joint Primary and Secondary School 30-minute Read” organized by the Education Bureau. This event utilized multi-modal reading to expand students’ perspectives. The celebration also featured a series of interactive activities, including a dried-flower bookmark workshop, book purchase, a “Favourite Book” voting act, and book donation. These initiatives encouraged the circulation of quality books and the continuous sharing of knowledge within our community.
